This group is set up to equip you with confidence and freedom to entertain successfully. Join us as we have fun answering questions and exploring stress-free entertaining together.

Newsflash: Improv!
"The News, Performed Keeps You Informed" ... Meeting from 7-9, the on-camera members will spend the first hour of the meeting getting the creative juices flowing with Improv exercises, workshops, techniques and skill-building games, while the off-camera techie types will pursue their craft. The second hour will be devoted to recording footage for the next Sunday's edition of Northlands News. There will be other production activities during the week on an "as-needed" basis: editing, preparing features for the News, gathering props and costumes, and other creative pursuits. Please join us if you have an interest in: Acting, Directing, Media (camera; audio; editing with Final Cut Pro), Script Writing, Journalism, Lighting, Props/Sets/Costumes, short film, and so forth, and so on. We look forward to collectively bringing our creative strength to the Sunday morning service!

The Storm Team
Matthew 16:18- And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the Gates of Hades will not overcome it." Jesus said that the gates of hell could not overcome His church. Gates have always been a defensive measure. Our group is designed to go out and "storm" the gates. We are unsatisfied without miraculous healings, signs, and whatever wonders God may bring. We are unsatisfied without seeing salvations First and Foremost. We WON'T be picketing, and soapbox preaching... Anything along those lines. Rather, we will go where we KNOW God wants us. Hospitals, Jails.. Treasure Hunts, yes, but even then we won't go without complete faith that God is indeed leading us to a specific place on a specific day. We won't be going alone either. We'll team up alongside other, current ministries from other churches until we've gotten our feet wet. Remember: Jesus said: Therefore "GO" and make disciples of all the nations,...". "Go" does not mean wait for the lost and the broken to come to us. So join us as we seek the Kingdom together, and do all we can to announce that Kingdom to be At Hand. We intend to make it fun, and to do away with as much awkwardness as possible... in the end creating a group of individuals who LIVE ministry, evangelism, and the Kingdom of God

The Holy Spirit and Revival
This small group will incorporate a Bible study on the person of the Holy Spirit, His role in our lives and how to respond to Him and His gifts. We will also investigate revivals, watch video footage of people who have led them and watch some of today's foremost revivalists for keys to His moving in the church. We aim to have as much practical application as we can after each session.

Marriages Made In Heaven
For all married couples, newlyweds on up, who want to build a great marriage on the foundation of God’s amazing design, the mystery of which is revealed to us in the marriage of Jesus, our Bridegroom, and the church, his bride. We’ll examine what the Word of God says about marriage, discuss what it means for our own marriages, and apply it using practical weekly exercises.

Good Movie Night
We will learn more about the art and craft of film (i.e. cinematography, editing, lighting, etc) to appreciate these aspects of filmmaking more. With this context, we will watch a good movie (Oscar winners, indie, foreign, etc.), and then discuss and evaluate the film afterwards.

A Few Good Men
Marketplace men activating our faith to see the church's mortgage paid off. The emphasis is targeted prayer over the finances of the church and its members. The secondary focus is to explore the scriptural promises and examples of God partnering with his people in the marketplace. We will start each work week encouraging each other as we invite God to break into our businesses and finances with His grace and power.
